ADMISSIONS & WITHDRAWLS

Although Catholic institutions are meant primarily for Catholics, we do admit children of different castes, creeds and religions. New admissions are given on the basis of the availability of seats by draw of lots.

The application for a Leaving Certificate shall be made in writing by the parents or guardian. A fee of Rs. 50/- will be charged for the transfer certificate and will be issued three days after the receipt of the application.

The date of birth and name of a student, once entered will not be changed.

PUNCTUALITY & ORDER

All pupil must be present for the morning assembly during which they pray together.

The school authorities are not responsible for the safety of any pupil after school hours. Necessary arrangements should therefore be made to take the child home promptly after class.

Pupils are not allowed to leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal which will be granted only with an application from the parent or guardian.

The school does not accept responsibility for any lost articles.

ABSENCE

Leave of absence is granted only for serious reasons and on submission of a written application in advance.

Appointments with doctors etc. should as far as possible be made outside the school hours.

The name of the student who does not rejoin the school within three days of the commencement of a term shall be struck off the rolls unless leave has been previously applied for and granted by the head of the institution.

In case of the absence without leave pupil must have the reasons of absence certified by the parents or guardians. After a contagious or infectious disease a doctor’s certificate is essential for resuming the class.

Sectional holidays pertaining to the child’s creed will be granted only on previous written application.

EXAMINATION & PROMOTIONS

Promotions are decided on the results of the test, conducted during the academic year and whole year performance in other activities.
