welcome to St. Felix Nursery School, Agra

St. Felix Nursery School, Agra, is a Catholic minority educational institution established on 10th January 1978 by Rev. Fr. Alexander OFM Cap. under the patronage of Late Most Rev. Dr. Dominic Athaide OFM Cap. Presently Most Rev. Dr. Raphy Manjaly is the Chairperson of the school. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Agra runs this school for boys. The medium of instruction is English. However, equal emphasis is given to Hindi, the national language.

OUR MOTTO

“Lead Kindly Light” is the motto of St. Felix Nursery School. Jesus spoke… “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will have the light of life and will never walk in darkness” (John 8:12). We pray that all who came into this institution may be filled with his light to dispel the darkness of every kind from the human mind and heart.

OBJECTIVES

St. Felix Nursery School is a Minority Christian Institution granted minority Right by Art. 30(1) of the Indian Constitution. The primary aim of the school is to educate our children to grow into integrated human beings by helping them to have a proper relationship with God, neighbours and the environment through spiritual, moral, physical, intellectual and emotional development.

It also aims to inculcate in our students the values such as truth, love justice, forgiveness, sharing, respect for all in order to be true citizens of our country. The School aims at imparting quality education to the children of Agra City, without any distinction of caste, creed, colour, social status etc. The focus is on enhancing all round development of the student.
